Heather’s Favorite ‘Things’

This all started by getting “old”. Kidding, (but only a little). Everywhere I looked, all the social media/instagram I followed for things I enjoyed… I didn’t feel like I belonged anymore.  Why? Because I’m over 40.  The skin care, the makeup, the workouts, the food prep, the outfit suggestions.. as I scrolled I seemed to be looking at younger and younger faces. And, there is NOTHING wrong with that! These empowered young women are growing up in a technological age we couldn’t dream up in our 20’s! Kudos to them! So, I thought, I’ll just enrich my insta etc with 40+ media to follow w/ the things I love.  Not only was it difficult to find, the content wasn’t even close to what I hoped for.  I KNOW there are women, just like me – trying to balance it all, but still wanting to have easy access to peer reviewed skin care, clothes, mom hacks and more – just because I’m over 40 w/ kids doesn’t mean I no longer love makeup and clothes! I AM still a woman 😉  And (while it would be nice), I actually don’t want to look like a 20 yr old anymore. So I began “Heather’s Favorite Things” and share them with you. I hope to save you the trial and error part and just get to the good finds for women like us – we are ALL BUSY! I hope you find something here that sparks joy! 🙂
